Seiko Mod Black PVD Mini Tudor Turtle 39.5mm
With the release of the new Seiko SPB313, SPB315, & SPB317 vintage inspired remake of the original Seiko 6105 Turtle dive watch, I wanted to see if I could make something similar, that also incorporated a few more of my favorite dive watches, like the Tudor Black Bay, the Seiko Marine Master, and the Rolex Explorer. If you're a fan of any of these watches you should be able to point out the inspiration for each part I chose and which watch it relates to. I also wanted it to appeal to the widest range of potential wearers, so here are the specs:
Case - 39.5mm diameter without Crown
Bezel - 36mm diameter coin edge unidirectional
Lug to Lug - 44.35mm
Lug Width - 20mm
Movement - modified NH36 regulated to +6s/d or better with day and date wheels and gears removed so there's no ghost clicks
Bezel Insert - Polished ceramic
Crystal - Domed Sapphire with clear anti-reflective coating on underside
Strap - High quality woven nylon Nato strap with brushed black hardware
Warranty - 2 years all parts and labor excluding water damage
