Seiko Mod 42mm Black PVD Double O Seven Deluxe
The original. The OG. The one that started it all. The Jaydnbrok Horology Double O Seven Deluxe!
This “upgraded” version of Seiko’s fabled dive watch, heralded by many as one of the best and most popular dive watches of all time, began as my attempt to make a better looking, feeling, and functioning version of the original, while still maintaining the extremely pleasing overall aesthetic of the original.
This new watch is made from all 100% brand new parts and was built from the ground up. It did NOT start as, nor was it ever a Seiko brand watch. Parts were sourced from the best mod part manufacturers from around the world. It comes with a 2 year full warranty on all parts and labor.* The specs are as follows:
Case - 42mm Matte black PVD coated stainless steel rated to 200m of water resistence
Movement - Seiko/TMI NH36 day/date hacking and hand winding movement with black day/date wheels
Dial - OEM Seiko SKX-007J matte black day/date dial with Marine Master style hands in a matte black and gloss orange finish. Both dial and hands are brightly lumed with C3 Lumibright
Bezel - Seiko LX style matte black, unidirectional (count-up) rotating 60-click bezel with hardlex style glass insert with fully C3 lumed numbers and minute markers
Chapter Ring - Orange color matched to the sub text of the dial with black minute markers and made of metal
Crystal - Original scratch resistent flat Hardlex style crystal
Caseback - See through stainless steel and sapphire exhibition style caseback
Strap - Orange single pass Nato style flex fabric strap
*2 year warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, accidental damage, misuse or abuse, or water damage of ANY kind! Although this watch has a high water resistence rating taking it into or submerging it in water is at your own risk.
